Privacy policy

This policy explains how Bakematic Digital Private Limited ("Bakematic", "we") collects and uses personal data through bakematic.in, the careers form and the Bakematic Team app used by our employees, including the Android app.

Job applicants

When you apply through the careers form, we collect your name, email, mobile number, city, work experience, joining date, any links you share, your resume and your message. We use these only to review your application and contact you about jobs. Founders and managers involved in hiring can see them. We keep applications for up to 12 months and then delete them, unless you join us.

Our team members

The Bakematic Team app is only for people who work with us. It stores:

• Your name, work email, phone number, team and role, added by a manager or founder.
• Work records such as orders picked and packed, stock updates, listings, tickets, chat messages, goals and performance scores.
• Attendance imported from our attendance device, and leave and salary advance requests.
• Your location, captured only at the moment you check in to a sales visit, and photos you choose to upload.
• A notification token for each phone or browser where you turn on notifications.

We use this data to run daily work, pay salaries, track performance fairly and keep the team informed. The app asks for notification, location and camera permission when it opens because these features are part of daily work. Location is not tracked in the background.

Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising. We use service providers to run the app: Railway for hosting and the database, Google for sending login code emails, and the browser push services of Google and other browser makers for delivering notifications. Order and customer details come from our Shopify store, and delivery updates come from Delhivery.

Security

All traffic uses HTTPS. Login uses one-time codes sent to your email, and access inside the app depends on your role.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent. Write to us at hello@bakeyy.com and we will respond within 30 days. Some records, such as salary and attendance, must be kept for the period required by law.
